Android Developer

Job Description

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Android Developer to join our development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Android applications that deliver an exceptional user experience. You will work closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to create innovative mobile solutions that align with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Android applications from concept to release.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using Java or Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to create engaging and user-friendly interfaces.
• Integrate APIs, SDKs, and third-party services into mobile applications.
• Identify, debug, and resolve performance or functionality issues.
• Stay updated with the latest Android development tools, trends, and best practices.
• Participate in testing, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience in Android app development.
• Proficiency in Java and/or Kotlin programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and Material Design guidelines.
• Experience with Firebase, Retrofit, and Android Jetpack components.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Understanding of Google Play Store app submission and publishing process.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development practices.
• Portfolio or published Android applications showcasing your work.
